I love how React and all that junk has moved the state of GUI development back 25 years... again.
Part of the problem with computers is that each new paradigm change requires rewriting everything, again. Mainframes -> Microcomputers -> PC's -> phones -> web, each transition set the state of the art back a decade or two while a new generation re-learned the old one's mistakes.
