Great News! Mozilla is finally adding built-in end-to-end email encryption functionality (OpenPGP) and digital signatures into the upcoming release of Thunderbird version 78.2, replacing enigmail, scheduled to be released in the coming months.
@stman Each new gpg implementation is a nightmare when you have teached non techies how to use it... I'm very happy, I will have many questions with this new version of Thunderbird 😔 As it has happened with p≡p
Simplifications hide all essential security concept and it becomes more and more complicated to explain users what they are doing
I hope this new version has a good conception and is very clear for users
