@starbreaker I think the best answer is that it's time to make MBR layout the default for new macppc installs.

Extra brain power should nowadays be expected from folks who want to dual-boot OpenBSD and an obsolete version of Mac OS on outdated hardware. Anyone else should not be having this problem.

@stsp I'm tempted to say that would be nice, but how often is that going to be an issue? I'd rather just update the documentation to explicitly state that unless you intend to dual-boot, you really should go with MBR.
