It's exactly 4 years since Google Reader shut down and I'm still mad about it
@surveyor I moved to #inoreader, which is close to what Google Reader used to be.
But what makes me sad is that Google Reader shutting down was one of the reasons why feeds have become a neglected technology, while Internet giants are building and forcing proprietary platforms and walled gardens to their users. If it wasn't for podcasts, RSS would be pretty much dead now
@miramarco Vero, tra l'altro i Blogger consigliano di iscriversi alla newsletter e non aggiungere il feed al feed reader nonostante avere 100 feed si può fare mentre essere iscritti a 100 newsletter è l'inferno della posta elettronica.

@surveyor La moda delle newsletter ancora ancora mi va bene, fintantoché la posta elettronica è decentralizzata.
Il peggio è quando un blog o una testata si affida esclusivamente a Twitter o Facebook per raggiungere i suoi lettori, escludendo chi non si è iscritto a quei social network e chi vuole poter gestire, nel modo che preferisce, il flusso di notizie che vuole ricevere
