@sushee sometimes I make a VirtualBox and install Linux just to remind myself that it's still there before going back to debugging c++ on macOS and weeping.

I think I just need a job that isn't computers, so I can enjoy them more again.

@gemlog @sushee I met a cashier who wrote a libre game in Pygame, even some wrapper for that library. It's amazing how people can be 10000x more productive when NOT choosing pseudocorporate bloated software.
Also, AWK+paralell+Unix utilities vs Hadoop.
Don't get me started on the Node bullshit.

2005: K3B is amazing, and my TV tuner works great.
2009: What's this Java services bullshit.
2010-2019: Fuck Android, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Pulseaudio, SystemD, CGroups and all of the middle layers. BSD user since ~2011.
