@sylvia_ritter May I ask you, can you read Tarot yourself? Or does a friend tell you about them? My husband is a concept artist too and I wish he would draw a deck... but not knowing the cards makes it an immense job for him!
@windruffle With the help of Wikipedia I read a lot about each tarot card. You can also find some basic keywords online. I look at old decks (like the Rider-Waite tarot deck) and give my cards a different interpretation. I can't read tarot myself.
@windruffle A lot of artists create tarot cards. I can't see a reason why your husband shouldn't be able to do it too :). It is a marathon, no doubt, but it is an interesting one.
@sylvia_ritter for him, it's time, right now he's working like crazy. I wish he'd do it. One of the most beautiful decks of all time (Crowley's) was illustrated by a painter who knew nothing about tarot :)
