@synaesthetica though I suspect your problem might be with Bluetooth more than anything else; the DS4 has fantastic range over here. Do you have a wifi adapter anywhere near the Bluetooth one by any chance?
@theoutrider You're right actually, it must be a Bluetooth problem because my DS4 works fine with my PS4. I don't plug my Bluetooth adapter in near my Wifi card, but I think it might just be a weak adapter. It's a $15 USB thing like half a centimeter long.
@synaesthetica I'm using a xbox one controller with microsofts dongle. I can go with it through the whole floor and always have a signal.
Pretty happy with it, like the feeling, and everything. :)
@lyze Do you know if it's the old one or the newer Bluetooth version? (They look a bit different)
@synaesthetica @lyze I don't really know sadly, bought it January this year.
@synaesthetica @lyze @lyze Ah found the labels.
@lyze Definitely a Bluetooth one then, thanks!
@synaesthetica I feel like I'm probably in the minority with this, but I actually really like the Steam Controller. Definitely takes some getting used to and arguably isn't the best choice for certain games, but it does what it's supposed to well.
@synaesthetica Though actually I'm always near my PC when I'm gaming on it, so I can't speak to the range. Guess I'm not the best person to help you out here :(
@synaesthetica I recently bought an 8bitdo SF30 Pro and it's really nice, even though the design is a little upsetting because they moved everything off-center to put in the analog sticks
