I'm about to save y'all's fuckin' lives, you ready?
If you're like me, first off - I apologize, but secondly you're shoes probably suck and your heel slips free every time you take a step with the default, out-of-the-box lacing method, yeah?
Turns out not many people know about the various heel-locking methods for running shoes and boots. You create additional 'loops' by lacing over the additional holes/hooks and then trying through them, keeping your heel in place.
Hope this helps!
@tahajin ... Alas, I'm one of those ridiculous people who actually ties their shoelaces more decoratively than for any practical reason. ;w; This is a really neat trick for sure though~
@99CentSoftness Well, I mean, if you don't have any problems with your feet, it's whatever - but I run the risk of flying out of my shoes if I so much as think about sprinting without this method!
I'm going to want to try this with my exercise shoes when I get home. Shoe sizes are not kind to me.
@salameleon Let me know how it works/if you're able to! Some shoes don't have the extra lacing holes in the back so it's a tad harder to accomplish!
