This is the longest time I've spent in Crested Butte in over a decade. I lost it today, mental health just took a precipitous nose dive. I'm fucking triggered by this place. Longing. Missed opportunities. Long lost friends. Asking myself if skiing ruined my life once again. It didn't, but it has definitely held me back from things like financial security and had an outsized hand in turning me into a degenerate addict.
