Chaos killed by a solo black wizard
I'm pretty sure one day, back in the early days of computing, someone said, "You know toggling these inputs directly into the machine is great and all, but let's try punchcards because there is always *loom* for improvement."
I enjoy this picture of "darbicus" way too much: https://imgur.com/a/Roc3p
Every time I use mastodon my browser (firefox) asks me this same question, how do I disable it?
Current status: Making sourdough bread.
I let a metal babble prepare my taxes. I wish I hadn't trusted him. The IRS is now auditing me and the metal babble is no where to be found. He said it would be okay because he had a lot of experience.
Playing Skyrim again, now it's on VR.
It was amazing on flat-screen, now I'm in it again in 3D 360.
So familiar yet so different. Astonishingly vast now I'm standing in it rather than looking at a screen.
Weird morality where I'm happy to loot the bodies of my attackers, but reluctant to steal a carrot in town.
Just do a couple of side-missions in town before bed, I thought...
Now I'm the other side of the world clearly out of my depth and far too late for bed.
The journey though!
I worked hard to make some sourdough this weekend. I shared a loaf with co-workers and they all really liked it. It feels good to make something people enjoy.
A lot of time travel movies/stories focus on what happens when you change the past. Do any of them touch on the potential problems of bringing diseases through time? What might be a harmless flu to Bill and Ted might have the potential to wipe out ancient Greece.
I guess video game armor could be considered a skeuomorphism, when you consider it's often not really a functional design if you tried to make a real-life version.

Mega Man 3 title theme is amazing. Here are violin and piano covers, respectively for you to enjoy.
That is all.

Happy mailman day!
Just randomly tuned into NESCardinality's and he sets a new world record for final fantasy 1. This isn't even the first time I've randomly watched and he set a WR. He's such an amazing speedrunner!
Wow I've literally never wanted to watch a video less
I like programming languages as a general concept. I also dislike using some specific programming languages. But even more than that, I hate when we programmers get dogmatic about our programming languages. We lie to ourselves and pretend it's all technical when the reality is that personal preference and experience are huge factors in advocating (or hating on) languages.
This guy's knife making and sharpening videos are so fun to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P6klz6BTek
He even made a usable kitchen knife out of pasta!
