And let me just clarify one thing real quick cause I’m not really sure why it became a thing other than I was suggesting looking elsewhere while Amaroq was in limbo:
I have no plans to discontinue Amaroq currently. I’m just a very busy floof who only has a bit of free time here and there, and I won’t hesitate to point this wonderful community in another direction when I’m unable to fix a problem overnight. I have many plans for Amaroq, but paying the bills comes first x3

TIL: http://www.pigeongram.com/
When sending a message via pideongram, the message is printed, attached to a pigeon, the pigeon will be released and it will then fly back to its home. There the message is put into an envelope and send to the actual recipient.
So you'll receive a piece of paper that had been attached to a pigeon flying through the sky. That's romantic, isn't it?
I wish all the problems I have to deal with on a daily basis where as interesting as this one: https://www.snellman.net/blog/archive/2017-07-20-s3-mystery/

I'm willing to take ownership of any mastodon instance if some admin cannot continue or doesn't feel like it. (like, for free and without too many changes)
Excluding single user instances ofc, but I think if it's an open one users should come first anyway, and admins should have a proper way out without telling everyone to leave.
Don't like to link to borpsite, but this too good to pass up: https://twitter.com/m8urnett/status/866353982217699328
The fact that an operating system (!!!) even needs privacy settings (!!!!!!) is mind boggling to me.
This seems insane: Tokyo had more housing starts in 2014 than California or England. Unsurprisingly, house prices have not inflated in the last 20 years. https://fee.org/articles/why-isnt-rent-in-tokyo-out-of-control/
