Mastodon is slowly working to make me a FLOSS junkie. I'm about to do some hacky stuff to take a journal app and tie it to my website so I have a easy way to push to it and maybe actually write on it. It feels very comp Sci ghetto in that good way, where everything is that little bit jank from using OSS instead of million dollar ux mastermind stuff built on unethical practices.
I dunno, it feels different in a way I can't quite place.

@thehottestpotato I feel the same! I mean I used to run my own Linux servers and stuff, but then I started to get sick and couldn't really do any of that brain work anymore.
But now that I'm being some energy back, I actually want to things.
