Gela is a bold, retro #typeface designed by Lewis MacDonald and released by Polytype Foundry in 2021.
Partly inspired by the funk and flair of 1970s #typography, Gela blends naive, blobby forms with confident, incised details, all radiating a laid-back attitude.
It is available in three optical sizes, with a variable version included in the family package.
