@wakest@bamfic#diaspora allows markdown but that has resulted in people writing entire articles with headings, subheadings, and inline images. Maybe fine on diaspora but not for microblogging imho.
@wakest@bamfic oh, I didn't mean it displayed badly, I just think that microblogging with a limit of 500 chars has little need for headings, subheadings or inline images :)
