Got a divMMC Future (SD card cartridge for Sinclair ZX Spectrum) from thefuturewas8bit.com and itโ€™s the most beautiful thing Iโ€™ve ever seen

@thomasfuchs Even the SD card has the rainbow stripe? That is a quality product!

@thomasfuchs OMG !!!
I love this brand. It remind me a lot of memories ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

@thomasfuchs Looks a lot more convenient than the microdrive ;-) Love the matching styling.

@thomasfuchs oooh, the memories!

@thomasfuchs that's awesome!

I really want one of their #commodore64 drives that's modelled to look just like the 1541, but I just can't justify the expense right now when I already have a working solution that's less photogenic.

@thomasfuchs Brilliant, almost all my friends growing in 80s UK had a ZX or the later +2 (unless their folks were rich enough to buy a BBC Micro). Did you ever see the BBCโ€™s Micro Men TV drama? It was about the rivalry between Sinclair and Acorn/BBC. At least according to Micro Men, Clive Sinclairโ€™s design process was to show his engineers a picture of the cool new design and say โ€œit has to look like this and cost x ยฃs - everything else is up to you!โ€.
