Proposal: USians stop using “PST” and “EST” and start saying “UTC-8” and “UTC-5” so I can work out what actual damn time you mean in my head.
Alternately, list local and UTC?

@ticky and that's before standard and daylight saving's times get thrown into the mix!
@Kit_ hence just list the literal offset; if you’re specifying a particular time in the near future that should be easy to get right
