I'm currently working on a #tabletop system (which I might turn into an online game) based around trade caravans - players transport goods from settlement to settlement, facing random events and environmental hazards along the way. Player characters have permanent traits and skills, and get random cards of items and skills at each embarkation.
@radix Definitely - in fact, I'm hoping it works out as a primarily soft, RP-heavy game, at least for the tabletop version, a scaffold around which to build character interactions.
@tindall nice! does the permanent nature imply some roleplay element?
