Batman: the dark night is the most overrated film of all time.
@RebelMoogle I like My Life as a Dog a lot, Breaking the Waves, the first half of the first Matrix film
@RebelMoogle (I'm being kind of a dick here, but I really do think superhero films are terribly lazy)
@tomharris hehe. it's all good. Many of them are. Some of them are at least still a fun ride. :) Except for Logan, that was... different. (still enjoyed it though)
@tomharris Heh. I don't even know those, Maybe I should look into that. Then again, I don't really watch movies anymore. 1.5- 2+ hours seems like such a time investment... :D
@tomharris you gonna have great troubles ... I probably shouldn't speak to u !
@tomharris also XD I find it slightly weird/disturbing that there's lots of batman stuff aimed at children, considering the comic's and movies' right wing leanings. at the end of the day, batman is just a turbo capitalist douche who beats up mentally ill people.
@bentosmile Yeah right. And Iron man too - "the best superpower is money"
@tomharris I fell asleep in that, although I also fell asleep in a LOTR movie and my favourite films are Contact and Jurassic Park, so perhaps I'm not the best at judging whats a good movie.
@BillPosters Jurassic park is a great, great film. It's populist, but still extremely high quality. Miles better than Batman imo.
@tomharris I really like The Wackness too,
Great soundtrack, Ben Kingsley, summer after high school. Generally a good combination of stuff!

@tomharris West Batman is Best Batman. Followed closely by Arnett and Clooney.
what I'm saying is I'll accpt Batman when it's camp and ridiculous
@theoutrider @tomharris Heck Yes Adam West
@theoutrider @tomharris I agree with West and Arnett, but I rate Conroy (and Keaton) well above Clooney so I guess I'm not that much of a softlord yet
@tomharris ugh man pain can't show emotion ugh vigilante justice ugh so toxic
@tomharris so what movies are your favorite?
