Yet another new beta version of Toot! is out! This time, it's mostly small improvements and bugfixes.

* Character count on posting screen.
* Toned down CW.
* Better display of direct messages on toot screen.
* Show name of app on toot screen.
* Copy text of toots.
* Hashtags with non-ASCII characters should work now.
* Various other bugfixes.

@tootapp is it me or did colors in toot replies just come out?

@tootapp in long toot reply chains where certain people are replying to certain toots and certain people are replying to the original tooter, you can see lines that connect each reply, now those lines are colored...

I believe they weren't before?

@kilian @tootapp hey that's neat!

Is there some way to show only certain strings of replies? That'd be something 😎

@tootapp love the toned down CW look; so much more legible. Thanks for all the hard work.

@tootapp Best mastodon client I’ve seen so far! Only issue I have is instance switcher placement makes accidentally exiting or switching apps a little too easy to do. But I love the way it works otherwise. Maybe tapping on it should do something like switching timelines on current instance?
P.S. Please charge me for this when released or have pro subscription or something. 😉

@tootapp looks like I missed that tapping it is paging to newer toots in the timeline already. 😀

@tootapp Awesome update! Is the timeline shift after viewing an image on the dock for a fix soon?

@tootapp CW warning text is much easier to read now, thanks.

@tootapp Can you make sure text size is on the list? I find it uncomfortably small right now.

@tootapp the toned-down CW looks much better, but it’s pretty thin and hard to tap - I’ll raise a Github issue if it’s not raised already.

@pd Not sure if that is worth doing much about. The only time it matters is covering up a CW again, and I don't think that happens too often.

@tootapp I found the intro screen confusing - I eventually got back in, but it wasn't very user-friendly/explanatory. I had to log back into my instance.

@tootapp can you boost the fonts, or implement dynamicType?

@jeffmc Possibly. Will look into it when I start actually using the theming engine.

@tootapp How do I get in on this?
(I'm an open source sw dev with extensive experience in UX/UI/backend testing, for whatever *that* is worth...)
