I like how nobody is surprised by the "news" that the device is being used for what it was created for.
@paulakreuzer unfortunately, a lot of people are being lulled into compliance by the marketing phrases like "cloud based computing" or "we respect your privacy", giving off this false narrative that some magic computer is doing all the work. That's where their line of critical thinking stops.
If that can still surprise anyone, the same is true for Microsoft's Cortana. Local contractors are used in every country to process the recordings (and security measures around said contractors can vary)
