A new report shows that Amazon processed 27,664 government demands for user data in the last six months of 2020, up from 3,222 data demands in the first six months of the year, an increase of about 800%.

@torproject This sounds a lot like the figures quoted by Andrew Little (Minister for NZ's intelligence services) saying reports of missing and exploited children had gone from 1m to 18m in four years while leaving out the fact that almost 16m of them were due to Facebooks automated system alone.
