It's Christmas and one of the unintended benefits of leaving my usual commuter rucksack behind at the office, prior to Xmas drinks, is that cycling in this morning feels like I have super powers. My usual iron plod was replaced by carbon fibre grace. 🚲💨
The end came when we had turned almost every surface, every structure, every material into a storage medium for the immortal mega-rich. Our blood, genes and brains used as arrays for mindless emoji strewn memes we didn't care to understand. Our fruitless hopes to become one of them diminished with every cat video.
The war to reclaim ourselves will be known as the great forgetting. We only have to remember what we're fighting for.
