The dilution of the self. Becoming a brand. An egregore spread across a multitude of minds. The fame monster?

An imaginary friend with which you can form a close personal relationship with. The relationships we have with our concept of self. A selfhood defined in terms of our percept of the other?

A fabricated being that exists in the land of identity politic. The land of ideas. Meme space-time?

The force of the collective. A shared state. A shared perspective. A meta-model of mental models?

A steelmanning of "energy". The notion: what you put out into the world matters?

Memes resonate in other heads, causing emotional shift. An intrinsic mental contagion?

A wave of ideas ripple thru the herd, causing disruption. An idea that infects the host's ideas, but also mutates itself?

The rare idea that leaves a host happier, but whose outcome is toxic to their friends?

Egregore wanting to be in control of it's own destiny. Innoculating against the self-other destroying selfish meme.

The negative space in the shape of your egregore.

The egregore of slime; itself a thought manifesting.

"This concept can be broadened, or maybe given a more technical spin if we think about a new idea: the meta-animal. That is, an organism that arises from a group of organisms. One very familiar example is the state, which rises from the people of a nation. A biological example is a slime mold, which is a colony of cells that behave as an individual creature."
