@enkiv2 That idea of copy/paste being a thing that becomes more than text editing reminds me a lot of xanadu's transclusions idea. Subtext looks cool, I'll have to play around with that.

I've wanted semantic merging ever since reading 'Fine-grained and accurate source code differencing' that looks at the AST instead of the raw text diff.

@ultimape The discussion on it is irritating but kind of illuminating. The article itself seems like an elaborate defense of a fairly conventional style, so I was surprised to discover that some folks find REPLs totally alien because they're web devs.
