Thinking about #StarCitizen makes me sad.
A close friend of mine spend hundreds of dollars on this game.
This included gifting me an account worth 60 €.
(notice: my pc can't run that game in any way)
It's sad to see starship enthusiasts being leeched dry by companies like RSI.
They promised a game. People spend money on it.
By not delivering a game it just feels like robbery.

basically RSI promised all of heaven to the users. If we reach goal # then you'll get <some gigantic feature that would probably double the development time>.
Suddenly RSI was developing their own engine and tools.
Star systems became galaxies, galaxies became super-stellar clusters.
No way they can deliver all what's been promised.
It's bad management (read: greed) on all levels.
@upshotknothole So is Star Citizen some kind of crowdfunded No Man's Sky? That was a catastrophic disappointment that I'm not eager to repeat.
