Things I don't enjoy wasting my time on: Figuring out why a unit test (WTF!?) fails on the CI server even when it's all green locally.

Found a commit with the message "made some changes to transaction handling" in a SNAPSHOT-dependency. Wouldn't be surprised if that's the culprit.

Pulled the dependency code, compiled locally, ran the test again, aaaaaaand... it's still green. The hunt continues. I loathe this.

So it's a timing issue all right. Manager to reproduce the problem locally.

"Fixed" it by tweaking the time values set in the test objects. That's an hour of my life I'd love to get back somehow. Now I'll go cry in the shower.
