@Theophilus Atari 2600 has lots of games that are still great. Proof that constraints can drive great design!

@viTekiM Asteroids, Centipede, Space Invaders, Space War, Starship... The list goes on!!! I was always a big fan of the space games. I like that yours gives the freedom to move about as well as a 360 range.

@Theophilus I'm going for a blend of Zektor/Space Fury and Asteroids Deluxe but i don't think too many folks would get those references. :)

@Meshelly But the rocks don't hurt you. They're useful for cover as this is primarily about fighting the hostile ships.

I really need to put that out there in the description as it looks so much like asteroids.

@OldandConfused I never did either. Mine was a gift picked up on eBay about ten years ago. Works perfectly. It's surprisingly good, still.

@viTekiM This is not my type of game so I can't and won't comment on the gameplay but the sound effects sound really harsh and unpleasant on my headphones. Wish you luck with your game!
