Be aware of a common scam running on the internet - someone emails you with a password that you will recognize and threaten to publicly bad post things about you on social media unless you pay a ransom. The password and email come from some web site breach, such as LinkedIn. Don’t fall for it. Delete and move on. Also, take this opportunity to get a password manager and use a different password on every site/service you use. ✌️

Yes, heavy javascript sites, lack of privacy, and a myriad of other things put the Internet pretty far from what it really should be.

But ReCAPTCHA is the devil's work. Half the time refuses to work with a VPN, the images take 5+ seconds to load, and it usually makes you do it multiple times. Why.

When I just moved here there used to be snow during winter months and summers were summery warm. Snow rarely occurs anymore, and only closer to spring if at all, and summers are only getting hotter, all within living memory. I don't like this :angery:

Friendly reminder: if you're currently using Free/Libre software and enjoying its features, aren't you better off than having paid for features only to find them lacking as is too often the case in paid software these days?
