It's disappointing to see Mozilla pushing a proprietary micropayment/subscription product rather than spearheading FOSS ones


It's yet another instance of Mozilla prioritizing finding alternative revenue sources to Google over its commitment to openness (eg: buying/bundling Pocket while failing to follow through on promises to open source it)

As awful as Brave's approach to micropayments is (ie: paying you in company scrip ($BAT) to watch advertisements), at least they're fully FOSS
