On the other hand, the phone number is not kept and/or transmitted when sending a signal message, if I remember correctly.

Signal is not perfect, and this phone number information is definitely one of its weaknesses.

(But I would still choose Signal over WhatsApp any day)

@volt4ire Wouldn't it be better to recommend something decentralised like #Matrix rather than just another centralised chat company?
