Wow I can't believe "glitch" has a Yiddish etymology (from "glitshn", meaning to slide, which was used by 1940s radio operators) boingboing.net/2019/10/29/the-

I finally got around to watching the trailer for Netflix's CGI Ghost in the Shell spin-off and all I can think about is how much its shitty graphics quality reminds me of Cubix cbr.com/ghost-in-the-shell-sac

Proof: the #kikk19 festival is the first event I've attended, which does not focus on alternative solutions, open source nor decentralization, though generally focuses on art, design and tech, where other attendees where posting things about the festival on the #fediverse using the official hashtag.

I hate MSNBC as much as the next far-leftist, but I always put it on the gymโ€™s TV just to troll the guy that arrives before me and leaves it on Fox

lol remember that time Disney tried to trademark Dia de los Muertos?

Holy shit, the gitcoin founder told me "we're burning over $100K/mo to try to Grow[sic] and Sustain Open Source; we're just trying to keep the lights on with the 10% fee"

What the fuck? What are they spending $100K/mo on? That's like 20+ engineer's salaries, they could just straight up pay free software devs to work on free software and have a huge impact with a budget like that.

Ughh not another Chapo conspiracy theory episode ๐Ÿ˜“

A while ago I asked my patrons what features they'd like to see in future Mastodon releases. Now, I'd like to ask you, my followers. I'd like to hear what people outside of GitHub think.

"'Use Firefox' is actually an effective means of protest," now that Google is forcing employees to use a Chrome extension for union-busting surveillance cnet.com/news/google-workers-s

lol I just found the ultimate "free software isn't political" self-own

Viagra should have chosen Dick Gephardt as their spokesman instead of Bob Dole since his name rhymes with "dick get hard"
