@w84death gedit is crisp. I'm a Kate person these days but nothing but love for gedit.
(Also, your status bar leaks tab width == 4. BLESS YOU.)
@w84death Gedit used to be my main editor! I had trouble adapting to the Gedit 3 changes, so I'm currently using Xed (a fork of Gedit 2)
