I really want the ability to privately rename people I am following #mastodonfeatures #usability
@gcupc I really like that feature in SSB, though it is indeed problematic for people wanting to keep any anon-ability. I do really like the identity part being separated from the underlying communication though.

Interesting. That's a feature in Patchwork, but people when follow you can also see your names for other people. Which I'm not crazy about, but it seems to be intended as a way to help find people when your actual user ID is un unmemorable key.
