Just discovered that the Joplin desktop app is huge: 685 MB. It is a note taking app. For comparison, LibreOffice is 767 MB and that is a whole suite of applications.

There are already many #AV1 encoders and decoders to choose from. That looks healthier than VP8 and WebP, which (AFAIK) still have only one implementation after 10 years.

For a project I'm wondering if I should use aria-hidden=true or HTML5 hidden attribute. In the wild I usually see aria-hidden. Not sure if screenreader support is better.
