Day 4 of Christmas hols: tried to re-flash an unneeded, EOLed Endless device to donate to charity. Found a bug in the reflashing tool, rediscovered a bug in the factory test mode, and discovered that the desktop session doesn't come up at all on the last release of the OS for this platform.
I'm really bad at taking holiday.
@federicomena your work on getting GNOME Shell to use librsvg's CSS code will mean four languages in one codebase: C (mutter), C++ (GJS), JS, Rust. Fun times for debugging ahead!
@KekunPlazas do you actually use the gnome-initial-setup EULA page on Librem 5? I see the librem5 branch has commits to adaptivize it

Arch Linux enables an obscure build configuration option on a GNOME module I've adopted and I wanted to understand why. So I grabbed an ISO and discovered the "installation" process involves being dumped at a root shell and having to bootstrap your system by hand. This is ridiculous! Are Arch users the new Gentoo users?
