Also went 3-0 at first league night of #mtg Dominari 😮 Dropped one game because an opponent cast a TURN FOUR GRUNN WHAT and another because I brainfarted and left behind only one blocker for a menace creature in a game I easily had board/race control over. Oops.
The point of doing this is to make myself accountable and work out how to get better at each individual thing in some form, so I'll publish my list tonight.
More positively, I went 2-1 at both FNM and draft weekend, pretty happy considering I haven't drafted paper since 3xIXN!
Probably not the way to go but it feels like a thing to do - I bought Next Level Magic and am gonna hold myself to tangibly improve. First step: listing all the ways in which I suck.

Just had my first game against Lantern control. It's weird, that sentence had the word 'game' but it certainly didn't feel like a thing either of us particularly enjoyed.

Like, I had my first game as a King, turned out to be Unseen King. I was terrified but Blue Dragon kept falling like flies as I kept checking neutrals. I guess I did good since we won? :D
Enjoying watching Throne of Lies on Twitch, starting to play a bit more but always feel like I'm not actually helping? No idea, it's a weird but interesting game.
2-2 Modern FNM last night. Loss vs: Jeskai Control & 5c Death's Shadow, Win vs Grixis Death's Shadow & 5c Death's Shadow. I dunno where all the Death's Shadow came from but hey.
Feels like one of those nights where I'm not sure where I could have improved but at least it wasn't completely terrible.
Keeping an eye open for a new deck to mix things up a bit.
Getting real annoyed with the drama on Twitter over Sprankle. Magic as a hobby has a million different ways to enjoy it and no one has a right to condemn it. Cosplay is just as much a part of the game as the lore, the art and that sweet combo you got owned by.
