"We are in the year 4572 in the Constellation of CassElliot. At this place, hyperspace is forbidden as the area is populated by billions of civilizations. Everyone is crossing in this zone with a reduced speed. One thing unites these billions of living beings: the famous RADIO NAUTILUS, which emits 73 hours a day from the exoplanet Fitzgerald."

That's the theme for the Radio Nautilus compilation, released today.

My contribution, "Lullaby for Suspended Animation", is track 109. This is the concept:

"While journeying at sub-lightspeed, many of Radio Nautilus' listeners choose to spend the long years in suspended animation, experiencing time at a greatly increased rate. This traditional hypnagogic chant of the Salthymid culture has been specially adapted to soothe the traveller through the suspension process and into a peaceful, oblivious sleep."

This compilation is 21 hours long, and my track is near the end. I'm listening through in order, and I'm on track 16 (only 103 to go). Most of it's good and weird so far. Go and download some at norecords.bandcamp.com/album/r
