So long story short, someone told Twitter that I was underage, even though I'm over 40, so they locked my ten+ year old account (dragon). I attempted to go through the appeal process for two months, they never responded, and then they automatically closed the case and a squatter immediately landed on my Twitter handle. So now I'm on mastodon, because why should I create a new handle there and rebuild my presence, only for someone else to do the same thing with no response from the company?

I saw a tiny lizard scampering across the porch this morning, which I thought was adorable since I don’t see them around here often.

Just thought I’d mention it since it’s a nice thing to think about, and so many concentrate on negative things these days (which are important things to pay attention to! But just talking about them and nothing else tends to lend to the idea that there is nothing positive in the world, and the positive stuff is still out there too when we look for it)

So there's a lot of news stories about NASA "shutting down the Voyager probes" which, while I always appreciate news on the project, is still misleading.

NASA is still intent on getting as much life out of the probes as possible, hence why they've slowly been shutting down instruments on the probes for decades. This is to help maximize the signal strength it sends back to Earth as more power is needed for distance - NASA is hoping to continue getting info from the probes into the 2030s.

Did you know that the Schengen agreement was signed on a boat between the German, French and Luxembourg borders on this day in 1985?

The agreement would gradually abolish checks at the borders between them: the Schengen Area was born.

Huh, several studies and methods show journaling can help with planning and better organizing tasks to work on.

Okay, I think I’m doing it wrong…

Happy that people post on YouTube so that a problem that would have cost me a $700 replacement washer or $200 repair a decade ago is now a $35 part fix + 30 mins self repair 😁

So not sure how often I should... toot? since I usually don't comment often on my life in social media 😅 and I don't want to spam feeds with nonsense... Finished watching Eurovision, which was fun as always!
I should probably go ahead and do a quick introduction blurb - i'm an otherkin with adhd approaching the half-century mark trying to get in EU and make music in spare time, but pay the bills working for a company you've heard of. I play with building servers both as hobby and for money 😀

While I was never big on social media and don't talk often, I do hate that I lost the names of those that I did enjoy following and thought of me at the least as an acquaintance, if not friend. With no access to my old tweets/lists, I'm hoping I can find at least some of them here on mastodon, and maybe those that look for me will eventually find me again.
