Tomorrow I'm going to start the long process of figuring out what's wrong with my arm + various other health issues and I'm nervouuus.

The first thing is just to talk about my symptoms with a nurse so it's not like I'll get to know anything, but I'm just scared of surgeries :/

At the same time I've been avoiding going to the doctor in hopes this all just goes away and it obviously isn't. Time to be an adult and face it

Popsicles give me life lately. They're nice and fresh, low calorie and don't destroy my already very destroyed gallbladder.

Ugh, the webtoon contest hasn't even started yet and people are already downvoting comics like crazy. Going to die of fun for the next couple of months

Please not the "unpopular opinion, webcomic edition". I am fleeing from twitter until these hot takes die down.

Well I did read in their forums earlier how a lot of people there don't like when artists ask for Patreon support, so maybe that's the reason I've been losing so many subs. I'll work for free forever, hope my landlord is up for that 😂

Some artists have had success with Tapas, but for me each time I update there I just lose subs and gaining any is incredibly hard.

I kinda caved in and re-uploaded the webcomic there to have another mirror but at this point I don't see what's the value of it?

Best way to start your day? Lose a patron and they write "some other reason" for why they left. That stuff just sits on my mind all day x_x

But hey it's a nice sunny day and weekend is around the corner. I'm also coming to terms with some things I'll have to change going forward when it comes to comics and I feel very at peace? I'm slowly moving forward and that's all ok

Lost a 10$ patron again and somehow that spiraled into one of those "I'll never get anywhere" depressive moods. Then ofc, you have to compare you Patreon success to others and there we go.

I have a lot of plans going forward this year, but I'm also starting to run out of time for trying to get somewhere with comics. Le sigh

Well, time for a nice forest walk, me thinks.

I'm kinda used to disappointment by now so I'll just return the cintiq and maybe invest on a better monitor and a more recent model of the good ol' intuos.

But what's really killing me is the realization of how conditioned I am by this arm injury. It makes me wonder for how much longer can I keep drawing?

So after saving for a few years I got a cintiq pro 16. It arrived yesterday and I loved it, though I knew I needed time to get used to it.

Except that now I have to return it.

I used it for a few hours yesterday and it flared up my shoulder/arm injury to an insane level. My arm went completely numb after working with it followed by a load of pain that hasn't gone away the next morning.

I half expected this since I don't do trad much anymore because of the same reason
