Yeah, the introduction to this Marx-Engels Reader is really nice and informative. I really liked it. I'm about to get into The Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844.
Anyway, even if you were to just read the Intro of the book, it is a nice summarized overview of what the material has to offer.
@bthall @klaatu yeah the intro is a nice alternative perspective to compare current economics curriculum to. Even if you aren't #communist or #anticapitalist. I just am referring you to it for purely academic reasons. I think that you will really find value in it, especially part II of the Introduction. They were great thinkers, and there is a lot to be learned from them.
