@tmcw When I sold Mac software, while also moving a bit between various states & DC, it was a giant pain for states like CT where you have to collect & remit sales tax for each software sale. And then on top of that, actually evaluating things after the fact to figure out profit margins and such! Really put the busy in business.

@thisismissem nope, it's sillier. tried to close my account, error message says i can't because of non-zero balance (balance was zero). contacted support, informed that the error was _actually_ about api traffic, needed 72 hours of no api traffic. eliminated api traffic, same error about non-zero balance, but support says that the error is _actually_ about having an active stripe card on the account. all means by which i could cancel the card have failed, so here i am now (the error is the same)
