@Edent Yubico security key WebauthN credentials stored via USB are available for use via NFC (and vice versa) rather than there being two separate stores, which I think is a handy to know for debugging

ACR1252U is probably the optimal reader as far as effective read range. Take it as your \"maximum\" because most other readers suck in comparison.
ACR1252U and most of the ACR range will have a PCSC driver for *nix and it works great.
I tend to use any abstraction layer (mostly to NodeJS for me) for prototyping w/ ACR. Most languages have an abstraction layer that works pretty well and avoids need to use PCSC directly.

@Edent cool! it would be nice to know if cards with dual interface (contact and nfc) with proprietary cryptoki (pkcs11) library work the same way (e.g. most eID cards). For some p11 libs it needs some ATR mask whitelisting in a settings file.
