The rates increased by almost 16% (from 25c to 29c per kWh).</p><p>Luckily I have <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/solar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>solar</span></a> panels and a home battery. In the past couple years I received credit from my solar energy export in summers, and paid small sums in winters. I can imagine how hard it must be to some people such as apartment dwellers who don't have the mean to generate their energy. :eyeroll:</p>
