Apparently this dude Cory Reed posted this picture of a gun magazine with "Cure for Pedophilia" written on the bullets.</p><p>Apparently this picture is popular among conservatives and is/was a meme they exchanged.</p><p>Well back in Aug 2023 he was arrested for exchanging nudes with someone he knew was a minor. 0x40k<p>Wow, just read about Operation Stream... absolutely sickening. 1.8 million users found on *one* CSAM platform? It's staggering, honestly.</p><p>It really makes you wonder how something like this stayed hidden for so long. And what does this mean for those of us in the security scene? Did we somehow drop the ball, or are we just facing an almost impossible fight against this kind of depravity?</p><p>Protecting kids has to be priority one. Period. Doesn't matter if it's offline or online.</p><p>(For anyone unfamiliar, CSAM means Child Sexual Abuse Material. Europol was the agency that took the platform down. The sheer volume of videos they reportedly found is just horrifying.)</p><p>As pentesters, we see some dark corners of the web, believe me. But this... this is on a whole different level. It's another grim reminder of how technology can be twisted for the worst possible reasons. The security community really needs to step up.</p><p>But how exactly? The key has *got* to be awareness, awareness, awareness! We need to talk about it openly. Report CSAM when you see it! Don't stay silent.</p><p>Have you been involved in combating CSAM?
