Call Center Village<p>We had our first "real-world" village at NAEO conference this past week. I think it went well for the most part, despite the conference not being a very technical one. </p><p>I also made some mistakes on marketing the event (so that people were even aware of it) but we still had a solid go.</p><p>I gave the "post-mortem" at DC614 and they encouraged me to continue on. I'm aiming for <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/HTH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HTH</span></a> in June since it's local and I have all the equipment.</p><p>Networking is not my forte, so wish me luck in their discord.</p><p>I did put in a Call for Villages for <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/DC33" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DC33</span></a> at the last second...but I'm not expecting that one.</p>
DEF CON<p>Good news, everyone! We’ve already got some discounted room blocks you can use to lock down your lodgings for <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/DEFCON33" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DEFCON33</span></a>. </p><p>DC33 doesn’t kick off until August 7, 2025, but that’s no reason to lollygag. If you’re a high-octane go-getter you already know how good it feels to get those To-Do items checked off early.
