5. The Stalin - コルホーズの玉ネギ畑 (Gem Spring Onion Field of Kolkhoz) (1981)

February is a cursed month. I broke my arm last year and I'm laid out with flu this one. I sweat and heave all day and night. I dream of fruits and vegetables in abundance. Amongst Anarchists I'm no Red, but out and about with moms and dads and the like, I might as well be Joe himself.

I like this version quite a bit more than the one that appears on the Stop Jap LP (though it still rips). Everything feels sparse, utilitarian. The drums regimented and industrial, the vocals feel joyously anthemic, the soundtrack to revolution on a bright warm day.
