@liaizon Yep!

is very a unique fedi client, in that, it focused on building on top of protocols, rather than just implementing a front-end for them.

Some of these:

- bookmark collections
- better feed/pin management
- saving posts offline
- multi-protocol support
- Organizing notification by tabs

Are UX issues raised by the community over the years.

While certain /#misskey forks do solve these server-side, the Dhaaga project is going with an alternative approach.

v0.15.0 will be out tonight 🎉

I am excited to introduce Collections™!

Bookmark implementation in is pretty weak.

And does not even have bookmarks yet!

Also, unlike , there is no way to organise them into folders, for example.

With this update, will let you create bookmarks and organise them into collections for ANY software.

The saved posts can be viewed anytime, offline from your device.

I finally have a ton of time to continue working on the app. 🥳

Some technical news.

It seems the MongoDB team decided to deprecate the Device sync features for RealmDB.

mongodb.com/docs/atlas/app-ser

was lucky enough to not use the cloud sync features (therefore not affected)

But, there are definitely long term implications to this, since RealmDB might no longer be a revenue-generating venture for MongoDB.

So, the future is uncertain.

I might need to move towards or other OSS alternatives. 😔

🔉 v0.10.1 hotfix

Thanks to @greatwolf, I was able to diagnose and fix an issue that caused to get stuck, after being freshly installed.

Affected Lite edition users () can patch their apps directly, or wait until 6pm UTC tomorrow:

Affected Playstore users (internal testers) should receive the update in a few hours.

GitHubRelease v0.10.1 - Hotfix · suvam0451/dhaaga🛠️ fixed a reported issue, that prevents fresh installations of the app from loading. Affects v0.10.0 only.
