Remember, this is a peaceful protest, but fascists aren't known for being peaceful. Please protest with friends, as there is safety in numbers. Wear long sleeves and eyeglasses or sunglasses - anything that will protect your skin and eyes in case the authorities decide to riot. I also recommend boots, especially steel-toed ones, in case you need to defend yourself. If things get heated, it's okay for you to leave if you feel unsafe; just be sure not to leave alone, as I said, there is safety in numbers. I hope we all have a good day tomorrow, and after the protest, maybe I will see you at the Eid celebration on Jones Street. SusanneIt's still quiet outside. Due to Eid starting on Monday many people are off for most of the week - usually at this time traffic is busy at the circle not far from our house, not so today, especially schools, universities and government workplaces are closed. Tomorrow - I'm not sure.
