...an utterly beautiful record, spacious instrumental bluegrass/jazz/classical fusion composed by the singular bassist in his debut as leader, accompanied by fellow virtuosos Béla, Mark, Sam, & Jerry D in an early (their first?) recording session together. At Pritzker Pavilion for a free concert of Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain, Edgar Meyer with Rakesh Chaurasia and The Arab Blues hosted by the City of Chicago and the South Asia Insitutue.
The concert has not started but we are excited - the music is a fusion of Western and Indian classical, along with Americana - will report back!
