We had 120mm of rain fall upstream, earlier in the week. 
There is flooding happening in places north and west of here.
But our bit of creek remained dry...
Until last night.
There is supposed to be a guy coming to quote for building a causeway today.
Just dropping the last two pony photos from March here so I can move on to April :)
Please enjoy our warm-snow-chaos-weather vibes while they last. Before you know it, the grass is going to pop up and totally change the color scheme. I even saw #bluebirds hopping around on the fence posts the other day.

We run a small farm in the NC Piedmont. And today, we just set up … a Farm Log. :)
I made a table easel out of scrap wood, & on it now rests a notebook (Tsubame 100p B5) inside of a leather cover. Added a Lamy Al-star (Safari) fountain pen with Diamine 1864 Blue Black. We primed the log with a summary of farm, household, & personal happens from the last ten+ years.
Everything is set up next to the front door on an antique table. It's a really great idea. Everyone should do this. #farmlife

Volunteer work can be extremely varied. For example, when you have to taste a giant omelette with the museum staff because Rosalie, the museum goose, has laid unfertilised eggs. Thank you Rosalie! Well, and, erm, Kasimir!
